PARTNERSHIPS
South Bend Heritage is proud to partner with Intend Indiana to expand affordable homeownership opportunities in South Bend. What began as a collaboration through construction management has grown into a deeper partnership—where SBH now also serves as general contractor, directly building homes that will provide long-term stability and opportunity for families.
Together, Intend Indiana and South Bend Heritage are combining expertise, resources, and a shared mission to create high-quality, affordable housing that strengthens neighborhoods and supports homebuyers for generations to come.
South Bend Heritage is proud to partner with the Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization (NNRO), providing leadership and management for its day-to-day operations, real estate development, and community partnerships. We also support key neighborhood assets like the Historic Firehouse 7 Community Center, ensuring residents have access to vital resources, gathering spaces, and opportunities for growth.
Through this partnership, SBH helps the NNRO carry out its mission of creating a stronger, more connected, and revitalized Northeast Neighborhood—one that honors its history while building toward a vibrant future.
South Bend Heritage proudly partners with Rebuilding Together St. Joseph County to bring critical home repairs and accessibility improvements to local residents. Through this partnership, SBH manages and operates the Rebuilding Together program, coordinating hundreds of volunteers and community partners each year.
Together, we make it possible for seniors, families, and neighbors in need to remain safely in their homes—strengthening both individual households and entire neighborhoods through renewal, stability, and care.
