Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization (NNRO)

Since 2001, South Bend Heritage Foundation has contracted with the NNRO to serve as staff for the organization. SBHF staff assists in the planning and development work of the NNRO.

The Northeast Neighborhood Revitalization Organization (NNRO) was
incorporated in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation for the purpose of the social, physical and economic revitalization of the Northeast Neighborhood in South Bend, Indiana. The funding partners of the NNRO include the University of Notre Dame, The South Bend Clinic, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Memorial Hospital and the City of South Bend. The NNRO has a fourteen-member Board  of Trustees that include seven representatives from the institutional funders and seven residents from the northeast neighborhood.
